just completed LS swap....hittin fuel cut at 5600?
well i just finished the swap a couple days ago and finally worked up the courage to give it a run yesterday. I'm hittin the rev limiter/fuel cut at 5600rpm. heres the setup, 93 cx w/ ls motor, gs-r tranny, and a jdm cluster w/ a 7000 redline(i thought it would be perfect for my motor so i bought it....apparently not). i have a friend w/ a hatch w/ exact same setup except in a dx and another friend with an LS and they took it for a spin and said my motor is actually reving to 6800 but my tach is that far off. anyone had similar problems or any ideas at all?

What ECU are you using. Just because the tach says 7k doesn't mean thats where the rev limit is.

Buy or borrow a tach from someone double check the rpms or install your old cluster back in and see if it matches the revs on your JDM cluster.
