Just completed b16a2 into eg... CEL keep popping up..
this past weekend, we just completed a jdm b16a2 swap w/ hydro trans into my friends eg hatch... the motor runs fine and pulls good, but we're still gettting a CEL 14 and 5 for the MAP sensor and IACV.. the sensors are plugged up and all, but the codes still are present.. we did reset the ecu , but to no avail.. the ECu we're using is the p30 and the harness is from a dx.. the usual knock sensor and vtec wires were also run...
on a side note, the dx harness has that evap purge valve plug that is mounted on the manifold, but the b16 doesn't have that valve on the manifold is it necessary to put it on, or is it okay to run w/o it..??
i'm pretty sure its jsut a simple fix, but is there something I just forgot to do?? my friend just wants to get the CEL to go away... thanks..

Make sure the plugs aren't switched for your map and iac, or check your wiring again. Also you do not have to run the purge, but keep it there if you ever get a skunk2 manifold you can use it.

Ditto.
Make sure the purge isn't plug into your IAVC by accident, they both share the same plug style.
