Jspec to USDM wiring
im gonna be getting a jspec engine soon (b18 or b16a2) and nobody i know, knows how/wont wire the engine for free. places around here charge 250 for that sh*t. i dont think its worth 250$ to have it wired so if anyone knows a site or has a diagram it would be GREATLY appreciated! thanks

Re: Jspec to USDM wiring (KAMiN)
just use your old harness and(if your car was not vtec before)run the vtec lines to the ECU... http://www.hybrid.honda-perf.org has some diagrams
try out all the plugs from your old harness on the new motor(most of them should fit). What will probably be different(depending on the year of your car and new motor)are the alternator plugs and injector plugs. Can't really remember....

What year is your car? If 96-98 Just buy a 96-98 Ex engine wiring harness.....it will plug in fine, and you will only have to extend a few wires.
There, wiring done!

94 EX already has the Vtec wiring. The only thing you'll need to add is the IAB (secondary butterfly) if you get a GSR. If you get the JDM B16a SiRII then you don't have to add anything. Maybe extend a few wires. Check out http://www.hybrid.honda-perf.org/tech/5gtech.html adn you;ll be fine.
