Default JE pistons and eagle rods

I sorta jump the gun and bought a set of je pistons and eagle rods made for a 1.8 integra 81.5mm bore, I have a b16a 81mm, I know all I need to do for the pistons is over bore .5 but what about the rods? will they be short enough to keep the 9.0.1 comp ratio, of the pistons in a b16 block, is the rods the same as b16?

The rods for the integra is different from the b16. The b18c & b16b rod will NOT fit on the b16a crank. Rod length for b18c is 5.429" and the b16a is 5.29"

it seems that they will bolt up to the b16 crank, the journals are the same, but will they be way way too long? will they even bolt up?

It won't work unless you have the b18c1/5 or b16b crank. Any b-series rod will fit any b-series crank with the exception of the ones I just mentioned. In my case I wanted to see if I could get b16a rods/pistons for my b18c1, but I'd run into the same problem. I did the research before buying anything.

i dont think so,
the reason why i say this is because of the different heights of the two blocks. the block height of a b16 block is 263mm and the b18 block is 270mm

someone correct me if im wrong

yu need to take 1/2 the crank throw when you try to figure out the block height. so a b16a is going to be roughly203-204 ish and b18's are212-213ish. hth
