Default JDM wire harnass question!!!

i know your gonna tell me to do a search, but i spent almost my whole labor day weekend searching and i couldnt find exactly what iam looking for. so i have a 00 ex and i got a 00' JDM b18c5. In order to make it "legal" i have to get the USDM wire harnass, but couldnt i just use the EX wire harnass that i have on my D-series? Also, Will any B-series header work, say if i have a header from a 00 SI could i put that on the ITR engine so it will pass?

Default Re: JDM wire harnass question!!! (teamexcel)

you will have to use the civic harness and just extend some wires. not a big deal. as for ecu you will have to use a 00 newer ITR ecu so the plugs match up on the ecu-harness plug side. as for exhaust mans use the 4-1 with heat shield if not you can use a header for a ITR from dc with carb # or use a 94-ls with the O2 at the end. you have to have the O2 in the factory location for what R uses to pass visual. the 99-si man might not fit as the R motor is a little taller. it might hit the oil pan.
