Default JDM Type S h22 EG....

Well the car is finally going in to paint tomorrow and I can finally start to say that I am about done so far with most of the things I have wanted to do with it.. It has been just about 2 years since I have had the engine in the Eg and I must say its the car quite enjoyable and fun to drive...

Now some know of all the work and time I put into getting swap done and the many questions I have tried to help to answer because I went through the same issues with axles, mounts, heater core, you name it..

But I will say this, I will give props to anyone that has the guts to take the time and put a h22 in an EG and take the time and sometimes cursing in order to come out with a final project that is worthy of its name..

I will put up picks of the new look once its all said and done.. And I will leave some pics of the progress from then till now..

The beginning

The mess

The hard work

Initial transformation

Last pic before external work

Hey Jason. Nice pics. I like seeing transformation pics like those. Two questions. One, what header is that? Two what intake is that (just a regular old lude short ram?).

Cheez...a couple nice arguments to why you should paint an eg white.

Great swap BTW.

Thanks guys..

AudioFuct: The header is a SS Greddy adapted to fit my 98 Engine, which on the lower bracket that attaches to the engine needs to be modified...

Old intake is actually a generic shortram for a 91 Accord.. Worked excellent but the CAI had been calling me for a long time..

Fast: If the car gets done by the weekend I am there. If not then I will still be dere just wont be driving my own car..

Stock civic one.. I still have to do some cutting to the shifter assembly so that everything sits flush, but that is the next couple of things I do to the interior once the outside is done..

Looking good, hope to get mine repainted soon too. Right now I'm dealing with a broken drivers window, putting in my stereo, and tinting the windows. Paint is next though. Post up those pics when its done.
