jdm pr3 pistons or usdm itr pistons?????
which one would you put in your block if you're doing an ls vtec setup. JDM Pr3 pistons or USDM ITR pistons? im looking for high compression but not too high like CTR's. any opions.

what kinda motor set-up or block are you talkin about... P73-00 pistons usually yield of some good compression... it depends on which motor build up your planning on...

i would say go with the jdm P73 pistons... they dont have as high as dome as the ctr's... i pieced together an ls/vtec motor
for a friend(never built it) and the parts i picked i was told the motor should have put 220-230whp... ctr cams&pistons plus a bunch of other whoohaa... but if your worried about the ctr's i would say get the jdm itr's. you can go here and do a search on ls/vtec motors. http://hybrid.honda-perf.org

I picked up a set of USDM ITR's brand new with rings for $250, I'll probably just mill my PR3 head to whatever compression spec. Any of the pistons are usable if you consider modifying the head. The Del Sol pistons that you mentioned should put you over 11:1 depending on the headgasket choice using a PR3 B16 head.
