Default JDM p30 AT Question, help if you can

hi, does anyone know if I can use a JDM p30 AT ecu in a usdm integra auto LS turbo or will I throw a cell?

Ummm.... p30 = vtec
ls = non vtec

you need a p06 or pr4 chipped out w/ hondata :-)

you probably could....but wuts the point of this if your engine is VTEC-less?

higher redline, lol... LS is only at 7k compare to 8200... THATS WHY

you would throw a code because the ECU would be expecting to see a VTEc solenoid.. i guess you could rig up some sort of resistor to make the ecu think its seeing the proper voltage..

dont do it

how about I use a manual ecu, p75?? Will that allow me to stay in redline longer?

ok..
well it is possible to have a P28 reprogrammed with a non-vtec (LS) program and it will work, and NOT look for VTEC.

Using a manual P75 will work too. Hit me up privately, I can reprogram it for you if need be
