Default JDM P13 ECU Automatic Tranny VS. 5-speed Tranny Differences

Anyone know if P13 from an Auto Tranny will work with 5-Speed. The dealer that I bought the H22A Swap from gave me the wrong ECU. If not can this be mod to work?
Thanks in advance.

yes it will work but CEL code as well as lower rev limit will be there.

but it can be chipped to 5spd, with either Spoon program (excellent ) or KS ROM

Yea just as any other... you'll get an automatic transaxle lockup code... unless you chip it out.... Peace

I've used 2 JDM auto ecu's in my car and no problems whatsover, I got a 180 hp and 154 ft/lbs torque with it. I have a JDM H22 in a 97 civic btw. Only code I got was for my egr, since it's disabled.

Finally got the engine in with the P13 Auto. For the record, there is not one CEL about the tranny. I'm getting the normal CELL errors MAP, IAC, EGR, Just get the Knock when it is rev hard. FYI... Knock, O2, MAP, EGR, and IAC does not have to be plug-in for the H22A w/Auto P13 to start. I ran mine 23 miles to garage to get the muffler plumbing fixed? Some say that you must have all the sensors plug-in to get it to run. Not true in my case.
