jdm motors
jdm motors come from japan wich has right hand drive cars, so the ecu must be on the left as where it is opposite here in the us. so if swaping in a jdm motor are some of the wires shorter and others longer, becuase the were soposed to be on other side? i have an obd1 gsr swap in my eg now and im debating putting a civic type r motor swap in and the ctr is jdm the gsr is usdm. is the wiring going to be different as far as not reaching the plugs, as a simple sollution can i just unlug everything off the gsr head and block and plug it into the ctr head and block?

That's the way it's done, just use the USDM engine harness.
