whats up guys i bought a jdm motor and i swapped it into my civic, the motor is a 99 jdm engine, but im still using an obd1 usdm ecu, should i change it to the jdm ecu? would it run better?
my vtec isnt engaging because my coolant temperature senor is missing too....this sucks....no vtec

jdm ecu is better in some ways but you can use usdm and will run fine. what motor and car is this all in?

use the 94-95 usdm gsr ecu or I can have a P28 chipped with a good gsr program with IAB control. I have dynoed it back to back against a P72 and it was better low rpm wise and make same HP top end, can also move rev limit.

Usually JDM ECU's have a speed governor on them.
