do you think that is reasonable price or they are trying to rip me off?

depends whats included for the $9999?

please list what mounts, axles, header, (stock) ECU, fuel lines & rail & regulator, clutch line, throttle cable line, shift box & linkage, ep3 idler pulley, new radiator (if any) are included in the swap... don't forget the 6spd shift ****

depends on the above if $9,999 is worth it

EDIT - look at hybrid-racing's group buy price is $2,995 includes all the above w/optional K-pro for $900 more...if K-pro is included with everything listed above that could be consider fair IMO

That has got to be one hell of a shop to have a k20 CRV motor (which doesnt exist) with a b16a cylinder head.. Section 8 might want to re-file.

I've gotten a quote from Ground Zero to drop a K20 into my EK hatch for $7,000 flat, so , yes, 10 grand is a bit unreasonable.

what motor are u talking about here? k20a or k20a2? because the k20a cost about 5500 alone and 3000 in extra parts. 9grand would be about right.

If this was for a DC5-R swap then that sounds about right. We do the DC5-R swap installed for about $9300. The typeS swap is about $2k less.

I know it sounds like a lot of money but this isnt like a B16 swap where all you need is the swap and some tools.

You need expensive mounts, expensive harness, custom axles, custom rad hoses, custom heater hoses, custom hydro slave cylinder line, custom header, custom intake, a lot of time in making the shift gate work properly, cutting the stock mount off the framerail, I can go on and on.

Its a lot of work. If you have a reputable business do it (like us) then good work costs money. You get what you pay for.

9999.00 what are you getting for that price...........are you getting a KPro? a Custom header? Hasport axles? RSX radiator? If not then its to high....

I swapped a K20a2 into an EG hatch, added K-PRO, and a Rev-Hard turbo kit and still only have about $10,000 into the whole swap.
