Default JDM H22 swap preventative maintenance questions

OK...I'm fixing to do an H22 swap into my del Sol within the next couple of weeks, and I am going to do as much as I can to make sure nothing goes out on the engine for a while (timing belt, water pump, and I'm putting in a new clutch), so I know what I need to replace now (although if I am missing something here, feel free to tell me). But what I am talking about is what am I going to need to do with the engine and transmission in the future to make sure I don't mess this engine up?

I mean, I know I should change the oil every 3k miles, check the transmission fluid regularly, rotate the tires as needed, replace the spark plugs when they go bad and such, but what other stuff am I going to need to do to the car to minimize any problems I might have in the future with the car? I know there is no way I can find a place that will tune up my engine since it is a prelude engine in a del Sol, because if it was a possibility...I would just have a reputable shop do it since I don't have many of the tools I would need.

I can think of a couple check your oil, make sure you have fluids in the brake resevoir and clutchfluid, dont drive like an idiot cause it will get you owned bigtime, check your fuses once in a whole while. Make sure its wired correctly.
Put some intake exhaust a header on it. If your gonna do forced induction get it tuned correctly. and thats it

That's it?! Wow, not bad, with a couple of tools, I could do all this stuff myself.

BTW, any idea on how much it would run for a new timing belt and water pump to be put on the engine while it is out of the car? I am thinking that parts are going to cost maybe $150...but labor shouldn't be that much while the engine is out of the car right?

Your engine will be as reliable as the install process. IF you take your time and do everything correctly (no cuttin' corners) - you will have a reliable car. I have had my swap done for over 18 months. No major problems to speak of.

I'm not doing the swap, a shop is...and they are telling me that it is going to take a week or two to get it all done...they're good too, they have a couple cars running tens.
