Default JDM H22 and DSS Stage 2 Axles not fitting in EG Hub !!

I bought some DSS Stage 2 Axles for an EG (H22A Swap) and for some reason they will not go into the hub of my EG 1993 Civic LX. When I take the old axles and try to slide it into the hub, it just slides right in but the DSS just will not do it.

In fact, it almost looks like the DSS Axles are very slightly bigger in diameter at the splines. Is this possible???!!

Thanks.

have you contacted DSS yet?

and are the axles the old stage 2'sor are they the level 2's?

Anyway I am using the DSS Level2's in my 1994 DX without any issues, all I can say is make sure the splines line up and call DSS if you cant figure it out, they are usually pretty decent people to deal with.

Hi, I just contacted them and they want me to count the splines on the axle so I will do that in a moment. In the meantime, here is the link to the axles I bought from prostock here on Honda-Tech.

From the link, what do you guys think? Are these really EG Axles??

LOL, yeah I just found out and confirmed that they are actually the old Stage 3 Axles that DSS make and need those hubs for them. Well he has been helpful so far and we are trying to get this resolved since the post DID say Stage 2 which we all know fits without a custom hub.

I hate this had to happen because now although we got the motor up and running, we CAN'T drive the thing and its driving me nuts lol.

heh that is why i asked about Stage vs. Level.
I bought a set of Level 2 Axles around 02 or 03, and it was already 6-12 months since they stopped calling them Stages...
