jdm club...good place to buy engines?
I want a gsr engine but dont know where to go. Went to hondamotorsonline.com did not have any reasonable prices, jdm1.com went there looks legit but everyone say they suck and not worth dealing with, importautosalvage.com is to much but sounds like a good shop.
So is jdm club a good place to buy from they have the usual start up warranty and everything but has anyone bought from there, how about jdm1 they have a 3 month warranty. There are to many east coast places im lookin for something near the west. Thanks.
P.S. I already searched and the post about "where did you get engine, overall experience" did no good for me either.

Yes that is a good place, possibly the best as far as completeness goes. The only problem is waiting 4-6 weeks and dealing with customs and such. You need to figure at least another $250 to that price cause you need to pay extra fees at port. Then you still need to pick it up or have it delivered to a shop. For me it's too much hassle, but he can get stuff that is a little more rare and LSDs w/out a problem.
Hondamotoronline seems really good, but I chose to order from a1jdmengines.com. My motor should be here next week. If I didn't know some other people that are with there H22's from him I would have gone with Hondamotorsonline.

i ordred from hondamotorsonline.com
i had great service and the motor was in EXCELLENT condition. (apart from damaged oilpan from shipping process, its common)
i would bother with jdm1 your going to be paying about 400 for shipping and port fees.
