Default jdm b18c throttle body???

hey guys,
i picked up this jdm b18c throttle body a while back ago and finally installed it into my b18c1 motor. after installing it, i noticed the pulley for the throttle cable is pulling the wrong way since im using the b18c1 intake manifold. do the jdm b18c motors not use the same intake manifold as the usdm ones with the secondary butterflies? so is that why the pulley is opposite? Could he of sold me a b16a/b18b throttle body instead? how the hell can i tell? Let me know guys. Thanks.

The JDM throttle cable configuration is a little different then the UDM style. That one looks to me like its a B16 TB, or USDM GSR TB... You can measure the back portion (butterfly) section with a mic.. I'm pretty sure you will find that its 60mm as it should be though, so I wouldn't worry about that. You can remove the throttle pulley from your old TB and mount it on this one as well as the throttle cable bracket and it should work just fine. Or better yet, install a Skunk2 intake manifold..

I have a jdm gsr TB on my B16. I had to switch the throttle rotor to work on the B16. That pic you posted looks like mine does now after i switched it. Its definitly a 2nd gen TB due to the map sensor location. Both B16a (2nd gen) and all gsr TB's are 60mm, so don't worry about exactly which it is, thats a 60mm for sure!
