Engine- JDM B18c
Car- 94 Del Sol Si
ECU- JDM p72
Harness- We are using the JDM harness. I know it's for a RHD car but we flip the wires around and with a little bit a manuvering, we got all the plugs to reach. We also added the IAB and knock sensor.
- Also, the ecu is throwing no codes at all.

Here's the problem: The car starts fine but won't go past 4k rpms. I've searched HT for the past hour and came up with the following ideas to check. Feel free to add any other suggestions:

Check
- vacuum lines for leaks
- ECU might be limp mode (we tried to reset the ecu but no help at all, unless there's a better way of doing it- please let me know)
- timing (don't have a gun but my friend is bring his tomorrow)
- try using the stock del sol harness

Any other suggestions? Thanks a bunch

VTEC solenoid working? I know someone with a '98 Accord who had that issue.

With the throttle depressed does it hold 4k or does it rev up to 4 then drop and come back up to 4k and drop, lather, rinse, repeat?

If it "hunts", you probably have a bubble in the IAC coolant lines.
