JDM B16A 1.8L conversion
Hi
I have a JDM B16A SiR-II (Second generation) engine off my car. As you know, the CR for this engine is 10.4:1. I have an option to get a B18B crank and convert my B16 to a 1.8L engine.
Is this possible or not? If yes, do I need more parts to do this?
How much would be the CR, the torque gain and the max output power?
Is it safe to rev this engine to 8500rpm or not?

Re: JDM B16A 1.8L conversion
I searched but couldn't find a clear answer because most of people are talking about USDM engines which are different to JDM ones as the usually have lower CR with different pistons.
