I have heard that japansese motors with japanese ecu's are speed limited to 180 km/h
is this true????

Sad but true,I experienced this at Road America,with a B18C1 in my 92 civic hatch at around 125 mph it would cut off.

What ECU are you using? Usually the JDM speed limiter is at 180 kmh which is about 112 mph. I haven't tested mine yet, only got it up to the 95-100 mph range so far, but the Hondata will take care of it anyway.

Well, I'm not sure what ecu it is.I do know it's JDM for sure because I didn't just buy parts when I did my conversion I got the whole right hand drive front clip. But I can't go into that it just brings back the wiring nightmares I went through to get this thing to work.I have been thinking about Hondata though,I just want to do a little more research about it before I get it just so I know what I'm getting into.
