Default ITR swap wont get spark.

i pulled my ITR swap out of my car and stuck it in my friends car. but now for some reason i cant get the damn thing to start. Its an obd2a motor wired up with the obd2b wiring harness off the car (its a 99 ex). Im not getting spark. Im getting fule. I replaced the ignitor (the damn thing crumbled). I figured that would be the problem but it wasnt. im still not getting spark. i checked if the coil was still good. it is. The dizzy is still good also. so im guessing its in the wireing.

all of the write-ups i find around here tell me to for the most part cut off the plugs and wirethem up color for color.

the thing just sits there and cranks and cranks. could it be the cap? i already replaced the rotor and ignitor.

any help would great

you might want to check the wiring. obd2a and obd2b have different colors for the same thing.

Also check tranny ground.

As mentioned above, you will need to take a Helms for both OBD2a and OBD2b and make sure the corresponding colors match for the ignition system.

I would definately check your timing. Make sure TDC on your cam gear lights up w/ the crank. Its commonly over looked.

replaced the cap, rotor, ICM. The coil is good. and the plug is off a 99-00 (obd2b) Si. and all colors match up and its all pinned the same from obd2a to 2b
