Default ITR swap in 5th gen....http://tech.hybridgarage.com/ a few questions.

so they only have info on a b18c1 on the site, but is it the same thing with a c5?
as far as ecu and wiring goes?
and othet details...other than fitment

just follow the guidlines for the c1 when doing a c5?

and this is the only change?
B18C5 (Type-R) Requires OBD-2 conversion wiring
where can i get this?

and are there other sites for swap info?
such as step by step write up?

thanks in advance and sorry for the redundance

Basically it is the same swap as a GSR... ITR is actually easier given the fact that you don't have to wire in the extra wire the for the IABs on the B18C1's dual runner manifold.. The only reason you would have to swap the interior wiring harness for a OBD2 is if you don't want to run a harness converter to run your ITR P73 ECU... It would be much easier to just add you extra wires into you stock interior wiring harness for VTS, VTM, and KS... For an ITR motor I would just run a chipped P28... If you really want to run that ITR ECU then the next easiest thing is to rewire just as you would for the P28 but buy or make an OBD2 to OBD1 converter... Hope this helps... Latez

thanks.

yeah most likely, we're gonna have to send back his ecu to get it rechipped.

anything else that would differ?

You could also use the stock harness but you would have to use the obd1 injectors and repin the connections to the obd2 dist. or get a 94-95 gsr dist.

Def. try and use the stock harness if the engine comes with it, then its plug and play but if not thats what you can do
