Integra Type R into 1992-1995 Civic's (wiring)
During my search on wiring I ran across this quote
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Hell in your Civic VX it will be 100% plug and play if you find a GS-R or Type R harness. Not one single wire will need to be ran this way. My 1992 CX (prewired for VTEC like your VX is, because all 1992 Civics were wired for VTEC regardless of trim) didn't require one single wire at all with my 1998 B18C5 swap because I used a re-chipped P28 and the Integra engine harness.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Like most people I am trying to cut my costs where ever I can. I have not bought the car, nor the swap yet. I am still in Kuwait, and doing research. I prefer to purchase the Si, but if I can not, I'm not opposed to purchasing a lower trim level. The reduced weight will be nice, but I like the amenities the Si offers.
My question is what model and year civics(92-95) will the wiring harness from an Integra Type R engine be plug and play with? I will be using a chipped P28 ECU, and to save money I'd like to not have to spend extra cash on subharness or adapters.
Thank you, and kind regards.

Re: Integra Type R into 1992-1995 Civic's (Lynx Bus Type R)
Basically any 1992 Civic can be 100% plug and play as long as you use the USDM Integra Type R engine harness and a rechipped P28 ECU. Like I stated above in your quote my 1992 CX was 100% plug and play.
Also any 1992-1995 Si HB will be 100% plug and play as well.
Any other 1993-1995 Civic will be easy. The non-VTEC 1993-1995 models will require minimal wiring at worst, meaning just adding two wires for VTEC solenoid and VTEC oil pressure provided you still run a rechipped P28.
In short any 1992-1995 Civic will be cake.

Re: Integra Type R into 1992-1995 Civic's (B18C5-EH2)
So in summary;
The B18C5 Engine wiring harness is plug and play with
Any 1992 Civic
Any Si
any VX
What about the JDM B18C?
