Instructions on how to convert an engine from OBD-0 to OBD-1....
I jsut got this info in an e-mail, theres no how to's posted on this so heres one:
**This info was given to me based on my old 1.6 SOHC Vtec engine. So when they say re-use your parts thats what they mean**
Converting the engine from OBD-0 to OBD-1:
1. Distributor has to be replaced with an OBD-1 B16A distributor
2. Substitute the injectors with those off your old engine (they have the
same flow rates)
3. Remove engine harness off the old engine and the B16A
4. Re-use old engine harness on the B16A. Extend connectors where required.
5. Run an OBD-1 ECU, like a chipped P28 (92-95 Si/EX -- this is what you
should have, just get it chipped) or P30 (92-95 B16A) ECU
You should already have the VTEC wiring, except for the knock sensor (this
is not required if you run a P28 ECU).
This might help if someone needs this info....... This info was given to me from hybridgrage.com...they are great!!
