Instaled AEM Fuel pressure regulator, have questions.
Hey All:
Just installed one of these things on my car. Now when I shut the car off, the pressure instantly bleeds down to 0. With the stock regulator in place, the pressure would hang and take an hour or so to bleed down. Is this normal or is there something wrong with this regulator? Thanks Steve |

Mine's doing the same so I am curious as well. I may call AEM's tech today to see what they say.

i believe it's a safety precaution, cause once you turn the ignition in the "ON" position, the pressure raises back up!

it bleeds down faster because the aem orifice is quite a bit bigger than stock, and it can accomodate a bigger fuel pump. What that means is that it just simply returns the fuel back faster. Its normal. what is important is that when your car is running and when you blip the throttle, yr fuel pressure should rise up (i think 10psi on aem fpr). If fuel pressure goes down.. then you have a prob.

My pressure does not go down for a couple of minites. but I am running a holly pump so maybe that is why?
