i am wanting to swap my stock d15b7 with manual tranny with a f22b2, im getting the engine for 50 bucks, tranny for 70, and ecu for 10, besides the wire harness, what else do i need, will i need new mounts, and is it really worth it considering i dont know how many miles the f22 has on it, so ill prolly do a rebuild, it is stock, does anyone know how much hp the two motors put out so ill know about how much im gaining........thanks, im a noob at hondas, ..........oh, and does anyone know the revlimit for the d15b7 so ill know how far i can push it and be safe

f22b has a compression of 8.8 ( good for turboing ) it has 145hp and i forgot how much torque it has. Stock wise the f22 series have a good amount of torque i know that for a fact. Its been done though, a guy with an EG on accordtuner.com did it and he said he was surprise about the power. Get a 6 puck clutch and lighten flywheel along with the swap Explore the power for the f-series motor... and you will surprise what you can do with them. You can even fit a DSM turbo kit on it with slight modification. But thats with the f22a's. the f22b's have the same exhaust ports as and h22a where its like o oo o . So many things to say so little time. Just research the f22b's

I hav a 96 civic it has the f22b2 in it and its fast but I'm having trany and axel problems I don't no the trany in it and I'm not sure its a perfect fit I need help on technical things
