I got my swap from IAS. Quick shipping, a few hiccups in that because of the shipping company NOT because of IAS.
The swap was in perfect condition, they even included new belts! A huge bag of extra bolts, no grinds in the tranny, came with all the O2 sensors, downpipe, cat, shift linkage, mounts, everything. Customer service RULED! Their customer service is great. Answered every question I had, they were friendly, all that good stuff. I would buy from them again. Price was kinda up there, BUT was worth it for the quality, cleanliness, and complete nature of the swap provided. I had to buy nothing, with the exception of liquids (Oil, coolant etc)

Good quality parts, and good friendly service. I don't really know about shipping, cause we always just drive up there since it's just a little over an hour away. I've bought plenty of things from there and will definitely continue to do business with them. My friend Nick bought his JDM B16A swap from there and it was super clean! Motor runs strong and no grinds on the tranny. Excellent place to do business with!

We have bought motors from both. I was impressed with the condition of the swaps from both, but I would reccomend IAS over hmotors. hmotors sent us 2 different axes, 1 ABS and 1 non.....we specifically ordered ABS axles. Also the shipping company they use sucks ***. Took 15 business days (yes business days) to get from coast to coast---i found out that the motor was sitting at the shipping co. regions warehouse for 3 days cause the driver didnt feel like dropping it off to us cause we were the furthest delivery on his route....ooooh a whole 45 minutes away.
My vote goes to IAS. Thats all they do, and they're one of the first in the country doin it.

I recieved my motor from IAS...great guys and great quality..no complaints! When you order from them you get 100% peace of mind that they will take care of you. Thats why you pay the hefty price....its not just for the motor..its for the quality of the motor..every part you need to make the swap possible...and the service afterwards incase you run into any problems. Like for me..i recieved my motor in 1 week shipped to oklahoma. It came in with axles, shiftlinkage, the correct mount needed for my swap, and even the catalytic converter to allow my exhaust to mate up, because the SOHC cat is shorter...but anyways...after installing my motor..i noticed my oil pan was dented...he sent me the new oil pan right away...brand new from honda...they sell their parts and stand behind them 100%. My motor is running strong and in perfect condition. Swap has been in since February.

P.S HMO is good too...but also..HMO has ran into a few customer complaints as well....all in all..if i were to narrow down the places i would buy from, it would be either IAS or HMO..so you atleast have good quality places in mind..other places i have heard good info about is also passwordJDM. Good luck with which ever place you go with!!

I bought my b18c1 from IAS. It cost more but the engine came with EVERYTHING. Even the mounts I needed to install into my engine, the gsr fuel pump, cat, sensors, well packed.
Only problem is a third gear grind...but I can live with that.
Engine was super clean(2001 GSR), shipping was quick, and customer service was good. I would recommend calling them though..it takes them quite a while to respond to email.

never had anything shipped from IAS, but they are fairly local for me, about an hour drive, Larry Jr and Larry Sr are the sh*t, they have excellent customer service, Randy is a bit harder to deal with at times, but they are good guys, i highyl recommend them above anyone else

I just ordered my b18c1 from HMO and the guy(steve i think) was real cool, although they were out of stock, he said they'll ship it when they get it in next week and itll take a week after that to get here. I'm happy.
