Im planning on droppin a LS!! where do i start??
I have been debating on what to do first. I have a 98 civic and I have decided to drop an ls motor in it...any recomendations on where to go, what all do i need, and how much would it the actual cost of getting the engine into my car...not how much the engine would cost, but how much to get it dropped? How much could I get an LS engine for? please respond appropriately...

I bought: complete 94 Ls engine, tranny, axles, ecu, etc....
ACT clutch
AEM cai
extra parts.....
Labor charges.....
total came out to about $3000................I am very happy with it. I just got it back yesterday! Now I gotta take it smooth in the clutch for about 300-400 miles till it breaks in! I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought my complete LS for 2000.
Engine, Tranny, Axles, Ecu, Shift Linkage, mounts.
Your gonna also have to get a 99-00 Rear SI mount (the trianle looking part).
Labor charges on average I would say is 500 bucks.
I'm in the process of doing the LS myself. I got my for 2K and im installing it myself. Good luck with the swap and hit me up with an IM if you have anymore questions

yeah me too, i have to do it myself i got my 94 LS motor for $1700 complete with everything. I spent all my money, i don't have enough money for the shop to drop my motor. Right now my swap is at a halt. i forgot to order the civic bolts .
