Default im all mixed up...swap parts question.

i have b20vtec with a YS1 b16 cable tranny and i have a rod shiftlinkage and its going into a 94 dx hatch which is hydro. do i need to get a different shiftlinkage and then get the hasport hyro to cable conversion.

Also can i use regular integra mounts with a cable tranny or do i need cable tranny mounts?

Cable vs hydro tranny.. you shift gears the same way, both use a rod style shiftlinkage.

the only difference is how the clutch is operated. the newer "hydro" style uses a master cylinder and fluid where the "cable" style uses a cable.

it would be much easier to get a newer Y21 or S4C B16 tranny and not have to worry about converting over to "cable"
