well.

im having trouble with my code 14, and my idle ONLY at 1,500 rpm's.

the iacv i used is the 2nd iacv i tried. wires are good. connector is good. continuity is good. i even ran a wire from a9 to the iacv itself. nothing helps.

i pull the connecter out, no change in idle.

car starts up fine. drives fine. sounds like it hits a rev limiter at 1,500 at 5% throttle. any more throttle and it works fine.

motor is a jdm b16 - stock p28 ecu - gsr 1996 obd2 wiring harness with obd1 jumper harness.

give it your best shot.

Does this throttle body have a fast idle valve on the bottom of the throttle body?

its not on the throttle body but yes i do have a fitv, and i screwed it up it was already in pretty much.

Damn, I'm having the same problem with my h22 swap. I've done everything that you've done but can't figure out what's wrong.

me either. its very frustrating. nothing has worked at all. ive tried everything i could think of and alot of suggestions people threw at me. keep them coming, its got to be something!

tried another p28 chipped from a friend and the car wouldnt start.

runs on stock p28 ecu.

So you ran a wire directly from the IACV to the A9 pinout?

Run the YEL/BLK wire directly to the power junction harness, or grab a digital multimeter and test the Yel/Blk wire from the connector to the A25 pinout.

If you replaced the IACV, cleaned the screens with brake cleaner, tested continuity on both wires to the correct pinouts, then the only thing left to remove the code is to try another ECU.
