Default 86 and....SWAP!

I just bought an 86 crx si and I'm looking at swapping. What years, makes, and models should I look at? Is there a 1.6 dohc VTech?? What are my options and where should I look..
Thnx-

Just FYI bro, it's VTEC

And yes you may swap in a B series motor by using HASport mounts.

You can visit http://www.hasport.com and receive more information on that.

yours is the first gen...the 86-89 integra motor (american zc, 1.6 DOHC non VTEC) will swap in easily....you can put a b16 in, but it's a hard swap.....the teg motor isn't a powerhouse, but the crx is really light....i had bolt ons, cams, good tuning and was running high 13's with that setup for rather cheap....you can use the rear teg disc brakes too, but the front suspension has torsion bars....easy to lower and the rear take springs.....some swap the teg torsion bars, but unless you wanna autocross, then it's a waste.....there are aftermarket bars too......

The problem I am having is that everything I research starts at the 88, NOT the 86. Im looking at hasport right now along with four other web sites and serch engines. Any direction would be sweet. BTW.-thnx for the link!

if you have enough money to do a b16 swap, then just buy a 2nd gen....it won't be cheap or easy to do it or especially to have it done in the 1st gen....for the price of mounts, you could buy a d16 and be in the 13's for a lot less than a stock b16 will cost you
