Default i know this topic is brought up alot but need help

okay i finally got money and blew my stock motor up awhile back i am looking for a swap i have a 97 civic ex coupe and want something fast in a straight line i have thought about a h22a but have heard that it is very diffucilt is this true ?? i heard welding and all sorts of stuff including no ac ?? but don't really now forsure. i have also thought about a b20 swap but dunno if that will work either. everyone just always says b18c swap it is very easy but have talked to a couple people and say that it isn't that fast in a straight line but autocross it is .... so the question is what swap should i get i got the money and everything just want something fast ina straight line really don't want a b18c5 swap don't want to spend 5k just on motor and axles, etc .... thanks anyone help or websites would be helpful maybe a h22a swap website info for a coupe thanks

if you don't have the money for an itr.. I wouldn't suggest doing the h22....... it's all i have to say

Dude, how fast u wanna go? A b18c is pretty fast off the line... hell, a b16a is pretty quick too. I say get a b18c or get a b16a and turbo that ****. Just make sure you get a B series motor.
