I have a 88 Civic Wagon 4WD... Will i be able to swap a B18B1 or B18A1 in without any modification?? What will i need to swap?
I current have a 1.6 16 Valve Engine that not enough for me... If I were to swap out my engine for a B18 will i have to swap the tranny out too? I dont want to spend major money doing this convertion.. Whats the best thing for me to do?
Ps... I at least want to get in the high 15s with this car.

i dont not believe you would get into the 15's with that setup. i dont not believe you can put a motor into that car unless you remove all of the 4wd components. so what i am saying is that there would most likley be alot of modification needed to do this. you would also have to get hasport motor mounts. maybe someone on here can correct me but i say if you want to swap to get a different platform.

1 4wd sytem works off a d series tranny so if you want a b-series anything say adios to the 4wd.
2 your only alternative is to run a ZC motor or Z6 then turbo that, that should get you in the 15's.

i have 2 4wd wagons
85' zc turbo on aem management.
88 zc n/a with a/c and p/s.
you can only go b series if you use a crv 5 spd 4wd trans, but you will have to do custom mounts. zc's bolt in.
