i got my motor today!
i just a dx motor for 50 bucks. it was a v-day gift from my girl. i got this motor to play with. i want to take it apart and learn and see what is inside first hand!.. i know pistons ,crank, rods etc and stuff. i want to see it 4 me self. it show be really funny, there will be pics to follow up! what should i do first. it came out of a 89 crx.. do u think i need a book, to tell what the parts are??

yuo know that... that is not a bad idea. Its like having your parents buying you a chemestry set or something. I think ill do the same thing and build it back together.

onmy way home with the the motor the oil came out!!! gezz oil luckicly it only when on the plasctic part of the truck and not on the carpet!! the motor is at my mans house. im going to drain it to day any one know what size the nut is?. when i pull this motor apart, what should i put under the motor to the area clean. i was thinking my old carpet that is rolled in the basment or a tarp.. and suggestions!

17 worked great!! i got a 96-00 civic book! it looks like the same stuff! eg and ef and basicly the same!! the dx motor in crx dx and in ef dx are simlar rite?

i took off at the blots from the tranny,, i need 2 crack it open!! its mad tight! i mite need a sledge hammer!

i got ral mad and threw the tranny in the snow!!! 5 bucks and u can have it,,, i canT get out the ****** pin!!! it wont move!!
