I bet my car throws more codes than yours
Just curious, how many of you are riding around throwing codes becuase you are either too lazy to fix it or too cheap to buy a stupid sensor like AIT. For me, I'm going to be throwing at least 5 codes. Meeh.

The first time I started my swap up it didn't throw any codes. A few days later it threw a code for the knock sensor and I fixed that the same day. no codes here.

I didn't use shielded wire for the knock sensor and that’s why I think it threw a code. Way before I did my swap I told my self that when my beast is started it will have no codes and every thing will be done right. Then a few days later I'm driving down the freeway with my girl and the damn check engine light comes on, as soon as I got home I jumped the connector and got the code. A few hours later she left and I got to fixing it.

I have done a total of 7 swaps and 3 of those got CEL's which I fixed immediately. The third swap I did, which was a 96 B18B1 in a 91 CRX DX threw no codes at all and that was after a DPFI to MPFI conversion. I doubted myself and thought the light was working right, so I unplugged the Map sensor to try and make it throw a code. To my amazement I acutally did the swap without any codes

Well, maybe not a laziness issue more so just a cost. I got a stripped motor so I had to buy sensors, and anything that wouldn't put me in limp mode didn't get bought!
