Default Hybrid newbie questions

I have a question for you guys. I know I'm going to swap my motor and transmission into a new shell when it's time for an engine rebuild, so my question is, what car should I get? I'm thinking of a gen 5 civic hatch so that I can take just about everything (seats, various interior parts, suspension, brakes, etc.) off of my gsr and put it on the civic. Can that be done with realtively little hassle? Or would I be better off if I swap eveything minus the brakes? Also, how long would this take with two people, one of which knows what they're doing and one that kinda does? Thanks ^_^

id use a eh 92-95 hatch since you are swapping all the stuff from your gsr

The brakes do work i have gsr rear brakes on my car you need the trailing arms ebrake and brake lines the stock cables are too short

if wanna save a lot of money id look for a crx w/ blown motor ive seen them for $300 (my next project)

An EG hatch or coupe is a direct swap. Everything, including the brake system and wiring will swap over.

If you're hard core and have a good place to work on it and a good set of tools it should take two or three good weekends to do.

In my case though its taken 4 months

And to be even more specific, a 92-93 VX or 92 CX would be your best bet for lightness and they VTEC wiring already embedded.
