Default Hybrid exhaust ?

Can i get by with my oem dx exhaust with my b18c swap? I know it'll majorly be choking things off but it won't be there long. Will it bolt up to the stock B18c manifold?

no man...it will be too short about 2-3"...one way to avoid that is to use a b16a downpipe.....

What if he uses the B18C1 all the way to the Catalytic Converter ? Then go with say a Civic Si pipe from CAT back ?

That is depending on Hatchback Si though ....

I hear the Del Sol B16A header will bolt right up. Not sure though.

I have an ITR/LS header and it reached the stock exhaust, but the bolts for the flange don't line up. I put on a Thermal anyway, so that worked for me!

Hmmm. Looks like i might have to bust out with the arch welder and rig something up temporarily. Anybody know a good place to find an oem itr exhaust?

Just leave the Headers through the CAT alone. Then you should be able to mount 3" extension from CAT to the B-Pipe, that's all (if using DX exhaust).

If you use a '92-'95 Si CAT back this mod is not needed.

Just get a Thermal exhaust like me. They sell a kit that would normally bolt up to Civic hb's '92-'95 with the stock exhaust manifold (with the cat ON the exhaust manifold). You can get a Thermal that has sort of a test pipe section for that missing gap. Works great for me. I have pics. I'll have to post them to show you. Or I can e-mail you.
