REALLY nice car, but, i found the following things pretty funny:

DC Sports Oil Cap
For when you need to spin the oil cap off faster than normal OEM oil cap users.

CTR Valve Cover
For those blistering speeds, you need a JDM valve cover to retain the oil in the head.

Skunk2 Battery Tie Down
All your OEM battery tie downs (and bungee cords) are belong to us.

Carbon Fiber Gague Trim
To decrease weight by adding stuff over your gauges.

Black Projector Headlights
Normal headlamps don't work as well as BLACK headlamps.

I think all the people that say stupid **** about people adding visually pleasing items to their car are a bunch of retards. What just because something doesn't serve a performance purpose means someone shouldn't have it??? That is by far the stupidest thing I have ever heard. Did you ever think for a minute that maybe a person didn't get these things to make their car faster but maybe, just maybe they got them because THEY WANTED TO!

I don't see not ONE thing wrong with anything on this guys car. Looks pretty damn AWESOME to me. I'm just sick of hearing all the retards saying "well, what performance does it add"? NONE!!! Since when does it have to? Since you say so? Go to hell.

BTW: This is directed at ALL the people that say these STUPID things, not a particular person in this thread or any other.

[/rant][/general statement]

Miguel

So, a skunk 2 battery tie down is worth the money over a OEM tie-down? interesting.

I don't see not ONE thing wrong with anything on this guys car. Looks pretty damn AWESOME to me.
Of course you wouldn't, you're a JDM noob. You'd spend $500 on a JDM door handle if it had a honda emblem on it (or came off a CTR). You'd spend $250 for a trunk lock cylinder if it was off an ITR and had "ITR" stamped on it.

See, what i don't get is people who pay money to make their car look like a stock japanese version of a car. Ie. your stupid conversion of the environmental controls. nice touch for a show car, but... seems pointless, expensive, and largely retarded. But, hey, it's your car...

I'm more into the clean, functional, but budget-minded look.

Why pay $150 for a Neuspeed strut brace when a $40 Matrix strut brace does exactly the same thing?
Why pay $700 for a HKAss exhaust system when a custom made exhaust system will flow just as efficiently and cost less?
Why pay $400 for JDM taillamps when they look virtually identical to USDM taillamps?

That's my logic and way of thinking. I built my Honda for the purpose of racing. Only mod done to the car to make it visually acceptable, paintjob. Otherwise, all functional.

But, back to the thread, i said it was funny. I found the humour in it. The car is VERY VERY nice. I'd drive it... of course, I'd replace the above mentioned items. Only cause i'm PRO-USDM!

Why pay? Because I CAN and because I WANT TO. Do I really need another reason? No, I didn't think so.

Just because YOU are budget-minded doesn't mean this guy, myself or anyone else is.

YOU built your Honda for the prupose of racing?? Does that mean that everyone else does the same? I mean really, read your comment and read every other rational persons comment. I assure you, the stupidity is not hard to find.

You say about my conversion or climate controls, gets points at a show? So exactly WHAT are you talking about then?? No offense butm you should seriously budget yourself and possibly purchase a clue or two before coming at me with some bullshit.

Thanks,
Miguel
