How well does a LS/Vtec handle boost with stock parts
Just want to know how well a LS/Vtec handle boost and how high can a rev? Also what will the comp ratio be?

all depends on how you build the motor
compression on stock LS pistons will probobly be around 9 so that would be ok to run a low boost setup
I wouldn't recomend it tho...you might want to upgrade the bottom end and head before you go turbo

I ran my turbo ls/vtec setup for about 8 months on 12 psi on a bone stock engine. I had an B18a1 and a B18c1 head. But now i upgraded pistons and rods and now on my new turbo am running 18psi to 8000 rpms. and havent broken anything yet!

I at least recommend you installing some arp rod-bolts (208-6001) for some cheap insurance! for only around 40 bucks. LS rod bolts tend to be kinda weak. and wont take kindly to the higher revs.
