close to 4 grand
usdm gsr engine,trans,harness,ecu about 2500$
did the following for the swap
skunk manifold aem cai dc 4-1 (aem and dc header used)
for maintenance:water pump..timing belt..oil pump...intake/exhaust gaskets.oil pan gaskets..cam seals...valve cover gasket...vtec solenoid gasket..thermostat...fuel filter...plugs/wires..new axles...honda coolant/trans fluid...paid a buddy about 300-400 (don't remember) to swap/change eveything
pretty much ground up from the bottom end being rebuilt...alot of lil **** if u want to do it "right" and not just plug the engine in to drive it...

99 GSR swap - 256 miles
- subframe
- swaybar
- steering rack
- full front suspension (shocks/arms/hubs/brakes)
4k.
bought new radiator, radiator/heater hoses, the ECU end of a wiring harness, some wire, new fluids.
labor - a friend, a couple hours and some sweat.
I don't include tools since that's a long-term investment, but yea, I have enough stuff to start a small garage now. Minimum is a socket set, torque wrench, jack, jackstands, and a borrowed/rented/bought engine hoist.

$1000 for jdm 1G b16a and a hydro tranny. Custom did the harness and reflashed the SOHC VTEC ECU from the previous swap. Don't remember how much the new mounts were.

my 94 B18C1 with ITR lsd, new clutch and pp, APexi header plus JUN ecu and skunk2 shifter ended up costing me around $4500. Motor runs really well too.
my friend got a salvage yard 94 LS setup and had to buy a lot of other parts to finish th eswap, but it still ended up costing him only $1000 TOTAL
we did both swaps ourselves, no cost there! NICEYY NICE

All you guys that have and can install swaps. This sounds kinda dumb, but Do you guys like directions or know a site that could coach me through it step by step. I imagine the wiring is the hardest part.

I paid $2400 for jdm h22, and swapping it myself, still need to buy hasport mounts which is $550 and axles which will be about $350 for both.
