Just wondering if i could buy a b20b CRV long block then a b16 head then hondata and some hasport b series mounts. Also a LSD B series tranny.

How much HP?

How much money does this usually run for?

Worth going VTEC instaed of Normal B20???

a straight b20 swap into a crx si will cost ~$3000. thats everything said and done.

here's some estimates cuz im bored at work.

b16 vtec head $500
ls/vtec kit $75
arp head bolts $100
arp rod bolts $40
new bearings $250
b18c5 waterpump $150
timing belt $70
tensioner pulley $75
balance rotating assembly/blueprint - $200
ls/vtec machine shop labor $150
b18c5 oil pump $150
girdle+necessary parts $300

so thats another $2000.

hondata: $350
lsd trany i dunno add another few hundred to the $3000 above.
then u need a clutch to put the power down..another $400..etc. etc.

so look to be spending i dunno. ballpark $7000-$10000 depending how extravegant u wanna be.

but it'll be fast.
