how many daily drivers?
I was just wondering how many people on Honda-tech have swapped motors and daily drive illegally in California. What motor in what car.

lsvtec in 95 eg coupe
i think the majority of cali drivers are driving illegally
i've only read up on a few that have actually gotten their cars barred for legal driving

I got all my stuff: OEM TYPE-R Air Box, OEM CAT, etc... and it passes.
You just gotta find someone that don't care about swaps.

yeah in stockton i heard u could pay off some smog guys but dont know if its true some smog places dont really care just if u have all the smog devices on lol

im not in cali, but i drive around illegally. 
h22 civic/ gutted cat. 2.5"piping. apexiN1. no smog tests here.. and i gotta hook up on the ole window sticker..

'89 rex with an LS under construction but will be legal have to in order to get it in my name. purchased it with no engien a year ago and when I went to get the pink in my name they said I had to get it smoged befor I could get it. well you know thats not going to happen till it actually has somthin to smog.

you even got the necessary smog equimpment for your motor?
how much was it for the smog equimpent cuz im planning to get that motor but 98 and up and get it BAR'd.

OEM ITR Air Box, and Arm = $50
USDM P73 ECU = $100
OEM USDM ITR CAT = $75
OEM JDM ITR Exhaust Manifold = Came with the motor
If you're planning to get it BAR, you should consider a B18C5 (USDM Version)
JDM is harder to get BAR but possible.
