How long does your exedy Clutch last?
I m runing a Exedy organic for about 3k now and I feel it slipping already. I use it mostly on daily driving and ,once in awhile, to race a few ricer. I have and Ls motor w/ b16 tranny. Probubly only about 125 whp. And it not like i don't know how to drive stick so....
Just wondering, how long does yours last? 3k is kinda fast imo. What have you guys experienced?

I've had mine for well over 6k miles, and at least 2k turbo miles making over 250HP, it chirps third and loves it. I think it's all in installation,
Clean flywheel and pressure plate with flammable brake cleaner and don't touch it again, never touch the clutch disc pad area, always get flywheel resurfaced, break in slow for over 500 miles.

that what i did but i use paint reducer to wipe off the pp and flywheel rather that brake cleaner. It works too. get rid of oil great. So my conclusion is that exedy , unless somone say otherwise.

I'd bet when you take your trans off there is a bad seal, I can't see an exedy failing that soon, I know many Honda and Subaru owners putting out double what your are just on the organic disc and have no problems at all.

My Exedy Organic lasted 19k. It was clamping good until it cracked in four places. It did not like the little drag racing that I did...link.

which seal are you taking about. the ones on the axle or the one to open up the tranny.
