Default How high can I Rev a B20 with the following mods done to it

I presently have a built GSR motor with a JUN head package. My power actually peaks at 9000 (dyno tested) and I shift at 9200

I want to get a b20 block with the following mods
1.Endyn RW pistons (12.5:1 CR) with eagle rods
2.Oil squirters installed in the block
3.Z10 Engineering girdle
4.Fully balance the rotating assembly

Since my JUN 3 cams in that particular GSR head make the most power at 9000, I need to know if the block can handle that RPM as well

here are some dyno charts to look at with built b20vtecs...
http://www.importreview.com/d_2.0.html
you might want to put a block guard into that equation
its not a matter of if it will handle 9k...its a matter of how many times it will handle 9k
it probably wont handle it as good the c1 because of the blasted r/s ratio that everybody talks about
why not punch out your c1 block to 2.0l

Well the b20 will cost me just as much to purchase as the cost to resleeve the b18c1. Plus I can resell the b18c1 block. Pistons and rods and balancing are a sunk cost as I would need to do that for both. Then there is the downtime factor. I suppose that I could do it over the winter as the car is stored then, but I am not known for being patient

I suppose that if I resleeve, then I can get the sleeves that have the integrated block guard /closed deck. Will this affect cooling at all?

but you will have an unsleeved 2.0 block so you will eventually need to resleeve it. if you resleeve the c1 block you will have a sleeved 2.0 block...kill two birds with one stone in one winter.

the car will be down in order to put the b20 in too, right?

not that i am aware of. they put cooling holes in them in order to accomodate for coolant circulation.

EDIT: i messed the quote up

I own a B20 and I know someone who is boring out their GS-R block to slightly less than 2 liters. (dlric) IMO, this would be the way to go. 1. keep the slightly better r/s 2. Oil squirters 3. Sleeved i.e. much stronger 4. already have girdle...anything else??
