I just gently pulled then out with some pliers. Seems like you're well on your way with this project. Just a few things you may not know that I found out the hard way:
Be sure to have the upper PS bracket from a vtec head. The ls one won't work.
You'll also need the vtec timing belt cover. I hope you have one of the block girdles on your bottom end

Also, if you want the gsr oil cooler setup, I have the everything you need (oil cooler, rear water pipe) except the nipple you tap into the block if you want it. I went with the front mount setup.

Yup, I ordered most of the stuff today from H-T members A Port & Polished B16 head with complete ITR valve train from B16_EF, Im going to pick the head up saturday. And I also bought a GSR tranny from B18c1_powered_SI. The tranny will be here on Tuesday.

I didn't think about the PS & timming belt cover. Man this is getting pretty spendy.

If anyone has those parts, please IM or e-mail me at ryan_kidwell@hotmail.com.

As for the Girdle. For now I won't have it. Its frirst on my to do list when I get more money.

Iv talked to several people now who said it will be alright. They said its more important to get a GSR oil pump.

be careful...because it is aluminum, it wont take much to drill it out. also, tape off that complete surface so no shavings get into any of the little passages, just a suggestion

What about any shavings that will fall into the hole I am drilling. Or does that not matter really?

the holes you are drilling are where the head bolts go so they dont matter
