How hard does your VTEC hit?(H22 Civic Hatch!)
Already looked around, couldnt find ****. Maybe it is because I was used to my B16 and I heard that B-series VTEC hits harder. My oil is level is OK, I am just wondering if H22's just arnt as loud when VTEC kicks. Let me know what you guys think???

Damn i thought I was trippen , I have a 93 h22a and when vtec hits it's no where near as loud as a b-series.

Mine hits so hard that the tires break loose and I'm all over the road and control it half the time... there's so much power and it's such a bitch to control because the sound of VTEC on my H22 hits so hard... it helps to clean out the VTEC solenoid too

i've heard vtec kick in on a automatic prelude, and it kicked harder than any b-series i've heard, inlcuding type-r integra's

Maybe thats whats going on. I am runnin a stock P28 until I figure out the best ecu to run. I also dont have my secondaries running right know!

Yeah, i think thats probabley it. The way my p28 is setup my vtec kicks in with the secondarys, makes it almost a seamless engagement. Very nice.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm.....?? Im gonna say that the only type R you have ever heard had a stock air box. You put an aftermarket intake on an R or simply a cone on the end of your arm and you cannot talk to the person next to you in the seat when vtec engages. My gf can vouche for that...i do it all the time when she is talking and she gets so pissed!!

If both are stock, I'd imagine the H would but I'm not sure. Nowwww if you've got a motor with some monsterous cams and a higher crossover it'd prob be different.

my H series without the IAB's and P13, vtec hit hard and loud... louder than my b16 with ITR cams.
my H with IAB's and running stock p28 I can bearly hear the switchover.
