HOW TO ELIMINATE RESISTOR BOX. 91' CRX W/ B18A & 92' TEG LS ECU AND HONDATA S200
i am running a 91' crx with a B18A and a 92' OBD1 LS ecu w/ factory high impedence injectors, obd1 distributor, boomslang harness, Hondata S200.
The car is flooding at startup. For that matter, it won't start at all. I am famaliar with the Hondata system as I am a dealer. I am about 99% sure it is not in the Hondata tuning. The fuel pressure is right on the rail and there is a spark to every plug. I am wandering if it might be the way I eliminated the resistor box ( i just tied the red wire to all of the yel/blk wires. is that right?

Tying the wires together will do the job. Bt it is MUCH cleaner if you use the injector buss from a 1992-1995 harness. This consists of an 8-pin plug with another plug that goes inside which simply connects all the pins together. You don;t even need to cut and solder. Just pop the pins out of your resistor plug and pop them into the 1992-1995 plug. Then pop the connecter plug in.
