how do you set the camshafts at TDC?

how do you set the camshafts at TDC?

there are 2 marks on the side of each cam gear. turn the gears until the 4 marks draw a horizontal line exactly with a ruler.

edit: and make sure both arrows are pointing in the general upward direction (the wont point EXACTLY up....but they shouldnt be pointing down

)
