How do i take out ecu pins?
Ive taken them out before(2 years ago) but i guess it was luck...anyways im using a tiny screwdriver that i use for the harnes pins..but it doesnt work on the ecu plugs...i took out the 2 clips that secure the wires...any ideas besides buying a pin removal tool from honda?I have friends at acura but if i dont have to buy something than i wont...

yeah those little buggers are a b$tch,lol hmmmm i actually have a set of dental picks that i use in the garage,lol seriously lets see you could try a tooth pick,lol i'm serious it doesn't take much pressure to move the little catch inside the plugs.... its just finding the right angle to pry at to get them to release, or maybe a staple or paper clip,lol hey i'm just trying to help you improvise man,lol good luck

thanks...ill try it...my screwdriver is pretty small...maybe as small as a paperclip but ill try those anyways...maybe i just need some practice...

ive got an obd1 and non obd...im trying the non obd right now because theyre easier to find than obd1...im building a harness from scratch for my race car and have the engine side made..and have almost all the ecu side run already but cant get the old pins out of the ecu plug...there is a few that i wont need..

use a bobby pin they are pretty stiff and smaller that any screw driver and they work awsome. ask your mom ,girl friend or sister they probably have thousands of the "F"ing things
