Ys1 and GSr tranies w/LSD are in high demand right now. Everywhere I've called said there is a waiting list.

I had to wait several months for my YS1. I suspect that the adder price for the YS1 will go up and stabilize the wait. You can spend $800+ for a Quaife and install it or spend a couple hundred and get the YS1 with LSD. There are benefits to the Quaife, so if you can spend a few hundred more and get your swap now, it may be worth getting the engine with a S1 tranny. You will be looking at additional labor, but it would be brand new. Whatever you do, plan on a few hundred extra for the little things that will come up. So far, I have had to buy hoses, a throttle cable, an engine bracket, and now I found out that I need to buy a header for my B18C swap. If you don't budget some extra cash, you will be stuck with a lump that you cannot use. Good luck and have fun!

I paid for my b16a w/ LSD (Y1) on May 23rd. I got the engine last week.

If you have the cash now, but it.. I wouldn't wait to pay.. Because you will just be waiting longer for your engine to come in.
When I talked to Steve, he told me out of all the engine's he gets in a week (or however often).. Only a few of them are with LSD. I was on the waiting list.
I order the hasport mount kit from him also. (Cheaper than from http://www.hasport.com!)
