high pressure fuel pump (searched)
Ok, so I'm planning on putting an H22 in my eg. I've read many posts about getting a bigger (in terms of lph) fuel pump so I'm not starving the engine in the high rpms. I'm probably gonna go with the Walbro 255-lph pump. My question is, what's the difference between the normal one and the high pressure one? I don't plan on doing many mods for a while (just a few bolt ons). Is high pressure mostly for heavily modded engines? Thanks.

Re: high pressure fuel pump (Braco11)
Any hi-flow intake fuel pump is going to be better than what you have. And it's all adjusted by the ECU, injectors. and fuel pressure regulator so get whatever pump is cheaper.

Re: high pressure fuel pump (Braco11)
The high pressure pump is designed for high pressure set-ups like a fmu creates.
It is designed to provide a higher fuel pressure instead of maxing out at say 100psi it will max out at 120psi and flow more then a stock pump.
You don't need the high pressure pump unless your boosted and are using a fmu type set-up. Just get the regular high flow 255lph pump.
